Call for Artist Proposals: Downtown Art Alley

The Art Alley project was created to introduce a space for local artists to collectively display their talents and reactivate a connective alley in Downtown. The project will allow multiple artists to create an art destination and showcase the talent here in Tyler. The Alley is located behind the 200 Block of W. Erwin St., connecting College Ave. and Bois d’Arc Ave.
Historic Murals
We released a call for artists for a historic mural and had seven responses. Attached is the call for artists. We are in the process of selecting the artwork now. We have used Brent McCarthy in the past for another mural and we were very happy with his work. If you want to see the proposals for our current mural, you can view them at the link below.
