Starr Studios has recently relocated to Denison’s Historic Katy Depot. Sean Starr is the owner, and he is very talented and has a tremendous resume. He has recently started a podcast that I shared with Howard Langner. Howard thought this might be of interest to share on the listserve. This guy is all about studying the market and overall branding when he creates signage. He does gold leaf, hand painted lettering.

We recently launched a podcast that is recorded here in our studio in Denison and it has really taken off. We are currently #5 in iTunes Top Podcasts for the design category and iTunes chose to feature us in their New & Noteworthy area which has instantly created a global audience of thousands. This has just happened in the last week. We had no idea it would take off like this, but its helping to spread news about Denison to a pretty wide audience. Thought you might want to know about that.

I have worked with many municipalities on a wide variety of projects. I am currently working on several projects for the City of Grapevine and I have also worked with the City's of Denton, Justin, Lewisville, San Mateo California and San Francisco California. I have also served as a design consultant for many of these city's historical commissions and served as design consultant for several years to the Fisherman's Wharf Association in San Francisco.
