Amarillo:
Vision: Center City of Amarillo, Inc. envisions the historic preservation and revitalization of Downtown Amarillo, by focusing community, social, aesthetic, recreational and economic interests in a historic core area.
Mission: Center City of Amarillo, Inc. will use the Main Street Four-Point Approach to revitalization – organization, promotion, design and economic restructuring – to encourage reinvestment and historic preservation while bringing businesses, customers, visitors and downtown residents to the historic district.
Bastrop:
Vision: The Bastrop Main Street Program’s vision is the continued preservation and enhancement of our historic downtown area as the prosperous economic and cultural heart of our community.
Mission: The Bastrop Main Street Program’s mission is to serve as a catalyst for the continued revitalization, preservation and economic health of our historic downtown area through collaboration with other organizations and use of community resources and volunteer insights, talents and energies within the Four Points: organization, design, economic restructuring and promotions.
Ferris:
Vision: A revitalized historic downtown Ferris will draw on its unique past, fostering economic opportunity, creative artistic endeavors, diversity, and vitality in the community. Clean, safe, and accessible settings will merge with the comfortable and attractive environment of historic buildings, pedestrian friendly streets, and interesting shops. In an environment conducive to small business enterprises, stores will offer merchandise unique to its trade area and beyond. Ferris will become a city known for protecting, preserving, and promoting its heritage for the enjoyment of current and future generations alike by offering opportunities to study, share, embrace, and enrich people of all ages and backgrounds. Ferris embraces its ethnic diversity and foresees a day when community festivals, tourism, and quality residential living will become the everyday norm.
Mission: The distinctive mission of the Ferris Main Street Program is to create, enhance, and maintain historic preservation and heritage initiatives in the downtown business district using the Four Point Approach of organization, design, economic restructuring and promotion. The program will develop and implement policies, such as the Ferris Downtown Design Guidelines, that will enhance its historic charm. The program will utilize financial programs, such as the Ferris Façade Improvement Program, to support business and buildings owners’ efforts to comply with those policies. Partners in these efforts will include the Texas Main Street organization, the Ferris Area Business Association, The Ferris Historical Society, the Ferris City Council, the Ferris ISD, and the 4B EDC Board.
Henderson:
Vision: The Henderson Main Street Project’s Vision is to have our historic downtown serve as a regional marketplace and gathering place that enhances quality of life and meets the needs of local residents and merchants, as well as, tourists and visitors.
Mission: The Henderson Main Street Project’s Mission is to utilize volunteers and public-private partnerships to revitalize and maintain the downtown business district; and to create and keep an attractive historic environment that is economically viable through the Four-Point Approach of organization, design, economic restructuring and promotion.
Kilgore:
Vision: The Kilgore Main Street Advisory Board envisions downtown as an inviting shopping, dining, meeting and entertainment destination that offers a sense of history through its unique historic attributes and a window to tomorrow’s economy.
Mission: To develop a revitalized downtown central districtthat offers the community and its visitors opportunities to shop, to obtain professional services, to dine, to live, to experience history and to relax in an environment that is attractive, safe, and a desired destination.
La Grange:
Vision: The La Grange Main Street Program will work to strengthen and enhance Downtown La Grange as the economic and social focal point of our community based on the strong foundation of our historic past.
Mission: The Mission of the La Grange Main Street Program will be to include the Four Point Approach of the National Trust and the Texas Main Street Program by continuing to organize, promote, encourage appropriate design and economic revitalization of downtown La Grange.
Lufkin:
Vision: Main Street Lufkin envisions an attractive and vibrant downtown that enhances the quality of life for residents and visitors alike by offering a safe and clean setting, a comfortable and attractive environment of accessible, pedestrian friendly streets, inviting public spaces and natural beauty. A downtown that preserves and promotes its heritage, historic assets and architecture while being conducive to business enterprises, employment opportunities and unique shopping, achieved and maintained through a strong public-private partnership with businesses, educational institutions, community organizations, government and residents.
Mission: The mission of Main Street Lufkin is to facilitate, through community input and implementation of the Main Street Program Four-Point approach of design, organization, economic restructuring and promotion to create a downtown that enhances and preserves the historical charm and integrity of the community while creating a more attractive and enjoyable place to live, work, shop and play.
Paris:
Vision: Paris Main Street supports, develops, and is a leader in the efforts in revitalizing our historic downtown and its unique history. Paris Main Street does this through the promotion of events and activities that that draws local residents and visitors to downtown.
Mission: We believe our downtown represents community and our cultural heritage, which can be promoted and improved through the utilization of the National Trust Main Street Center’s Four Point Approach-design, organization, promotions, and organization.
San Marcos:
Vision: Our vision is that downtown San Marcos will continue to provide a sense of place for its citizens and visitors, be a moderately upscale shopping district, and entertainment district, and all within a historically-focused commercial district.
Mission: The mission of the San Marcos Main Street Program is to maintain the unique, historic nature of downtown recognizing its history and planning for its future. We strive to provide economic stability to the heart of our City through a comprehensive revitalization program of the Nation Main Street Center’s Four Points of Main Street: design, economic restructuring, organization, and promotion.
Waxahachie:
Vision: We envision downtown Waxahachie to be a thriving destination for visitors and Waxahachie citizens alike as well as a vibrant central business district. Through a program of restoration and rehabilitation we will preserve our historic structures while utilizing them for modern purposes.
Mission: The Waxahachie Main Street Program is a public-private partnership with the sole purpose of enhancing the downtown business district. Through the utilization and successful implementation of the Main Street Program’s 4-point approach, all activities will support making downtown Waxahachie a clean, enjoyable, and thriving place to live, work and visit.
